Care & Cleaning
In order to guarantee a long use-life, Superfit children's shoes should be cared for properly from the very beginning.
Don't forget to waterproof! Before wearing them for the first time, and then after each cleaning.
- Dirty shoes should be wiped clean with clear water.
- Vinegar helps to remove road salt stains.
- Polishes should be applied lightly.
- For leather shoes, ask your shoe salesperson which cleanser you should use.
- Shoes that are wet through and through must be dried slowly. Remove the inner soles, and stuff the shoes with newspaper. Never dry them over a fire, a stove, a radiator, or in the hot sun; this might make the leather hard and brittle.
- When they are dry, care for the shoes according to the material.
- Feet give off moisture that is absorbed by shoes. The only way to allow shoes to dry out completely is to change shoes daily.
